El Congreso de la República se prepara para debatir una moción de censura contra el ministro del Interior, Juan José Santiváñez, debido a la creciente crisis de inseguridad ciudadana en el país. Los congresistas Susel Paredes, Diego Bazán y Jaime Quito han presentado, de manera separada, los documentos que solicitan su censura. Además, fuentes parlamentarias indican que la bancada de Fuerza Popular estaría preparando una cuarta moción.
EL VIERNES SE DEFINE
La vicepresidenta del Congreso, Patricia Juárez, confirmó que el debate se llevará a cabo este viernes 21 de marzo. La muerte del cantante Paul Flores, ocurrida el pasado domingo, fue el detonante que intensificó las críticas hacia la gestión de Santiváñez.
Partidos políticos como Fuerza Popular, APP y Renovación Popular han exigido, a través de sus redes sociales, la renuncia o censura del ministro, señalando su incapacidad para enfrentar el aumento de la delincuencia en el país.
CON 66 VOTOS BOTAN A SANTIVÁÑEZ
Según el Reglamento del Congreso, para que la moción de censura contra Juan José Santiváñez prospere, se debe de reunir un total de 66 votos. Una vez que este sea aprobado, la presidenta Dina Boluarte estará obligada a cambiar al ministro del interior.
