La colaboración de la ciudadanía fue clave para que la Policía Nacional del Perú lograra la captura de tres presuntos extorsionadores integrantes de una organización criminal dedicada al tráfico de drogas y tenencia ilegal de armas. Entre sus pertenencias se incautaron un arma de fuego, una granada de guerra, una carta extorsiva, droga y municiones.

En el distrito de José Luis Bustamante y Rivero, se detuvo dos extranjeros que se identificaron como Dubraska Vegas R. (20) y Leonard Zay P., alias “Animal”. A Pérez se le encontró en posesión de una granada y una carta extorsiva, mientras que en el bolso de Vegas Ruiz se halló un arma de fuego. A ambos se les incautaron drogas, entre ellas marihuana y clorhidrato de cocaína.
EXTORSIÓN DESCUBIERTA
La carta extorsiva contenía el siguiente mensaje: “Esto es para que vean que no estamos jugando. El próximo ataque será dirigido a mujeres que no se quieran alinear con el Cártel del Caribe Nueva Generación (CCNG), o como nos quieran llamar los orientales si les suena mejor. Vamos contra los administradores y administradoras, dueños y dueñas de locales que no se alineen y sigan yendo a la DIVINCRI. Haré que les cierren todos los chongos y locales aquí en el León del Sur, a punta de plomo y granada. El próximo atentado será con una granada.”
Tercer detenido en Socabaya
En otra intervención, realizada en el distrito de Socabaya, se capturó a Yeiner Jauler Ocanto C., también de nacionalidad venezolana. El sujeto se desplazaba en una motocicleta aparentando ser repartidor de delivery. Durante el operativo, se le incautaron drogas y munición para armas de fuego.
De acuerdo con las investigaciones preliminares, la policía sospecha que los dos varones detenidos a parte ser extorsionadores serían sicarios y estarían vinculados a crímenes recientes cometidos contra ciudadanos venezolanos en los distritos de Sachaca, Yanahuara y atentados en Bustamante y Rivero.
Acción fiscal e investigaciones en curso
La Segunda Fiscalía Provincial Penal Corporativa de Arequipa ha iniciado una investigación preliminar contra Dubraska Vegas Ruiz y Leonard Zay Pérez por los presuntos delitos de tráfico ilícito de drogas, tenencia ilegal de explosivos y armas de fuego.
El fiscal a cargo ha dispuesto la realización de diversas diligencias, incluyendo la prueba de absorción atómica para determinar si los detenidos utilizaron armas de fuego, el análisis de grabaciones de cámaras de seguridad en la zona, el pesaje de la droga incautada y otras acciones para establecer su situación legal.
Paralelamente, la Fiscalía Provincial Penal Corporativa de Paucarpata ha iniciado una investigación preliminar contra Yeimer Ocanto Cumarín por los presuntos delitos de tráfico ilícito de drogas, en su modalidad de promoción, favorecimiento o facilitamiento del consumo ilegal, y tenencia ilegal de armas y municiones.
También se ha dispuesto que se le realicen pruebas de absorción atómica, peritajes a las municiones y demás bienes incautados, con el fin de esclarecer los hechos. Los presuntos extorsionadores permanecen detenidos en la DIVINCRI.
